Children are encouraged to think differently, embrace new challenges, work collaboratively, build new friendships and to celebrate their successes. We value the role families have as the first educators of their children and invite families to participate in the life of the preschool.
We provide meaningful play experiences that engage children’s imagination and curiosity by allowing children to be creative, independent directors of their learning. Our preschool is an inclusive setting, where each child’s culture, interests and needs are nurtured in a safe stimulating and challenging environment that encourages a love of learning. We ensure children have a balance of structured and open-ended experiences, where they are encouraged to question, predict, problem solve and express themselves. Our preschool also fosters cognitive development where opportunities for rich language, literacy and numeracy are incorporated each day.
Children are able to access 15 hours of Preschool per week, for up to 40 weeks in the year, before they begin school. We offer Preschool 5 days a week, with a range of different time allocations.

OLV Preschool offers Playgroup sessions for children aged from birth to 5 years. Parents and Caregivers work together to provide their babies and young children with opportunities to learn through play. Each Parent or Carer is responsible for their child's behaviour at Playgroup and this helps to ensure close supervision of all children.
Each Playgroup sessions cost $2.00 per family and you are welcome to bring a snack for your child if required.
