Absolutely not. We invite and embrace all faith backgrounds and acknowledge these when teaching about the Catholic faith.
No, it is not. Even though most people live on the LeFevre Peninsula it is not a requirement. If you live nearby, or a bit further away, everyone is welcome at OLV.
School begins each day at 8:55am and finishes at 3:25pm. However, on a Wednesday, school finishes at 2:30pm due to staff meeting commitments. Supervision is provided 20 minutes before and after school.
Yes, you can, but please be aware these are sold separately to the Uniform Shop on site. Please join our OLV Buy/Swap/Sell/Giveaway Facebook group here.
We understand family time is precious, and often parents work late but at OLV we believe the purpose of Homework is to consolidate learning that is happening in the classroom. In the early years of school, it is important that children practice reading at home, to help develop their fluency and comprehension of texts. As students get older, homework is likely to be set to practice skills and understanding or gather new knowledge to support learning. Homework tasks will vary across different year levels according to the class and or individual needs. Our senior students are expected to complete Homework using the Office 365 suite of programs, often needing internet access.
